Or something like that. Anyway, a year later he's in our Modern Orthodox shul giving a speech about how he found the Lord and how His Word entered his heart, and about his personal relationship with God. The audience was completely. freaked. out. ("He's been trying out different religions his whole life, who's to say this is the final stop?" "He sounds like a new baal teshuva. They should have waited until he mellowed out over a few years before asking him to speak." etc.) That was my initial reaction, too. But if you read Tanach, that's EXACTLY how David HaMelech talks.
