Parshat Chayei Sarah - Inside vs. Outside the Tent
From a strange nuance in the text at the beginning of the parshah, we
then turn to the end of the Parshah, and then back to the beginning of
last week to focus specifically on the unusually accurate description of
the choreography of the angels' visit. That brings us back to an
amazing commentary of Netziv at the beginning of Chayei Sarah, which
describes what made her special and unique, and has a lot to teach us
about politics, ourselves, and what's missing from our homes today.
