Passing by a rest stop on the New Jersey Turnpike - I think that it was the Woodrow Wilson stop, Rena wondered alound how they decide who to name the rest stops after. I wondered in response whether in fact it was an honor, and whether one could refuse. I imagine the following conversation."We'd like to name a rest stop after you."
Long pause.
"Gee...thanks. Can you think of something else?"
Actually, one rest stop in New Jersey was named after Howard Stern in exchange for his endorsing Christine Whitman when she first ran for governor.
